It captures the iconic scents of the Mediterranean in a sensual and intriguing fragrance: fresh and mineral yet intense and perfumed. Built around a majestic duo of orange blossoms and white musks, its fresh character is subtly warmed by sunny notes of ylang-ylang and immortelle, while an overdose of geranium and moss adds an unexpected fern touch. Perfumer's Words
"Jean-David gave me the eponymous book by Madeline Miller. I wanted to capture the sensuality of the text, the 'meaning of the words' that emerges throughout the pages. I imagined a chameleon orange blossom on a bed of musks, alternately virginal and warrior-like, to grasp all its nuances and complexity. I decided to pair it with the immortelle flower, with its characteristic warm and salty notes, a nod to the Mediterranean and a playful reference to the vulnerability of Achilles' heel. Geranium and moss give the impression of a disguised fern, reflecting the ambiguous feelings that unite the two heroes." Alexandra Carlin
