THE HOPE - THAMEEN
THE STORY: Considered by many to be the most famous diamond in the world, The Hope is also one of the largest diamonds on earth. Described as the size of a pigeon egg, it has a distinctive blue-gray hue and also emits a rare red phosphorescent glow. The stone has been worn by sultans, queens, aristocrats and socialites; notably Queen Marie-Antoinette, who wore it as a hairpin, and its last private owner, the flamboyant heiress Evalyn Walsh Maclean. It inspired the "Heart of the Ocean" in the film Titanic and provided the inspiration for this iridescent fragrance.
THE FRAGRANCE: Opening with the warm sparkle of cinnamon bark, myrrh and cloves evoke the legendary smoldering glow of the diamond. A woody shimmer of cedar and oud wood sits at the heart, layered with the multifaceted honeyed brilliance of immortelle flower. A base of black amber, labdanum resin (from the Mediterranean rockrose), musk and vetiver exhales pure glamour and sophistication. Decadent.
