"Jean-David wanted a hug, a soft and comforting scent that wraps around you. He spontaneously thought of iris and its powdery signature. In Greek mythology, Morpheus, son of Sleep and Night, is the deity of dreams. So I imagined a dreamed, fantasized, idealized iris, with all its facets pushed to the extreme: the powdery, enveloping, and comforting facets are accentuated by violet and the vanilla and almond notes of tonka bean and heliotrope; the naturally green, vegetal, and crisp facets are intensified by violet leaf and hazel; and the woody, rooty, and earthy facets are reinforced by cashmeran and touches of vetiver."
