SPIRITO - MEO FUSCIUNI
Metamorphosis cycle
I was looking for a single body, I only wanted the harmony around me and the immortal delicacy of its fragrance, of its Spirit. I wanted none of the chosen notes to overshadow the other.
I wanted a timeless fragrance, where the gaze would get lost in the olfactory memory of this journey, in a place I have never seen. Where only spirits can arrive.
I really wanted to escape, to get away on a spring or summer day, but I couldn't, so I imagined a large field of grass in the wind. I wanted to recreate a place I had never seen, and I was accompanied by the poetry of Emily Dickinson, her words, her visions. I saw this place, I felt it was mine and close to me.
I went to a place I had never seen,
beyond this place that I could only imagine.
Now, I am here, among the perfumes that are not expressed aloud,
but in the lived spirit, where I have never been, nor you,
maybe, only souls.
However, I was there, sensing the scents and observing the boundaries of the forest.
I was looking for a solitary body, I wanted only harmony around me and the immortal delicacy of its scent, of its Spirit. I wanted a timeless fragrance, where the gaze would get lost in the olfactory memory of this journey, in a place I have never seen. Where only spirits can arrive.
