A JOURNEY INTO THE ARMS OF THE OKAVANGO DELTA
The Okavango, in Botswana, this "river that never reaches the sea" gives the region the appearance of a tree lying on the sand, with its countless roots tracing an aquatic labyrinth redrawn daily by the whims of the water. On the banks of these numerous waterways grows vegetation spreading all kinds of scents. From papyrus to acacia, passing through sycamores, this flora is an endless source of inspiration that feeds the imagination without ever satisfying it.
THE INSPIRATION OF SONIA
I wanted to create a perfume that is an ode to acacia. I enhanced its sweet and honeyed side, added sunny and powdery notes of woolly caper, and the green notes of papyrus lining the banks of the delta. The woody notes of sycamore, mopane, and the fruity notes of marula close this composition and give a suave and addictive touch to the perfume.
