INNER CONTEMPLATION
Kyoto, Japan. In this lane lined with rose bushes, the air is saturated with the sparkling scents of flowers in full bloom. Hidden at the end, the entrance to a Japanese garden, striking in its mineral quality, where stones, gravel and wood trace the path of life. A semblance of austerity that opens the way to an inner journey. As if suspended between two worlds, the mind is elsewhere. In search of illumination.

SONIA'S INSPIRATION
I was inspired by Japan's dry gardens, so surprising. I translated them into a dreamlike olfactory interpretation, where sensations are as present as the mineral and vegetal elements that make up the garden.
