GENTLY - JUPILO

In Rome, Epiphany has particular flavors and scents. Piazza Navona dresses up for the festivities. The Fountain of the Four Rivers, surrounded by stalls, is overrun by a crowd of people and colors. Portrait artists and caricaturists, cotton candy and balloons adorn the baroque architecture with Fellini-like touches. The befana flies on her sorghum broom and brings welcome gifts to all, candies but also small bags of sweetened coal. Adults and children, on January 6th, have no age in Rome.

Dolcemente de Jupilò evokes this moment of intense joy. It captures its charm and contrasts, exuberance and goliardia. Like Piazza Navona, it is rich and multifaceted.
