THE STORY: Known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Amber Room was presented to Peter the Great by the King of Prussia. Dazzling in the heart of Catherine Palace near St. Petersburg, the room was entirely covered with amber panels backed by gold leaf and mirrors. When lit with more than five hundred candles, it was said to shine like trapped sunlight and molten gold. Created by fusing amber, Cognac and honey, its history and radiance inspired the creation of this perfume.
