Today, I remembered bicycles. I saw children on bikes near cars speeding by. The exhaust fumes blew over the cotton candy. Strange circus, absurd circle. It reminds me of the sweetness I knew at their age. Strawberry jam and raspberry yogurt. Everything was so good, but I couldn't know it. Then that metallic scream interrupted everything. The sudden brake to youth. The hot, torn rubber marked in plain sight. Born from the essence of a back seat. I was so fast and so loud that the car could no longer back up.   Now, I am parked in a hospital. I hope they have something sweet in store for me.
